Here's exactly how you're protected.

Recipients never see your name, email, phone number or IP address. On Plus they can get hints, like your phone, country and the app you found their link in.
Your network address is used, scrambled and changing daily, to slow down spam, and looked up once on our own server for your country. It's never stored.
Pause your link whenever you want to stop getting messages.
Delete any conversation, or your whole account, whenever you like.
Your data is never sold, and nobody can pay to see your name. That takes your yes.
Either side can report a conversation, and link owners can block a sender.

Most anonymous links stop at the message. This one keeps going.

You can reply to anything you get, and the sender can reply back. It stays anonymous the whole way.

A name only shows when both of you say yes. There's no paying to find out who someone is.
